Privacy policy

Last updated October 20, 2026. This policy explains what personal data the adclip.ai service processes, why, for how long, who receives it and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of personal data processed through adclip.ai is the administrator of the adclip.ai service. You can reach the administrator about any privacy matter at [email protected].

2. What data we process

  • Account data, such as your email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), workspace names and team roles.
  • Billing data, such as the plan, billing period, invoices and the billing details you enter at checkout. Full card numbers are handled by the payment operator and never stored by us.
  • Content you provide, such as product and app store links, product photos and clips you upload, brand kit files (logo, colours, fonts), banned words, disclaimers and comments.
  • Outputs, such as hooks, scripts, video ads, static ads, captions and variant files created in your workspace.
  • Demo inputs and results, meaning the link you enter in the one-time demo and the result generated for it.
  • Technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs and security events.
  • Support messages you send to [email protected] or from your panel.

3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

  • To provide the service you signed up for, including generation, rendering, export and team features (performance of a contract).
  • To take payments, issue invoices and keep accounting records (performance of a contract and legal obligations).
  • To send account emails, such as confirmation codes, receipts, renewal notices and changes to these documents (performance of a contract).
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce the Terms (legitimate interests).
  • To measure aggregate use of the website without cookies and improve the product (legitimate interests).
  • To answer your support requests (performance of a contract or legitimate interests).

4. Your uploads and outputs are not used for training

Product photos, clips, brand files and the ads created from them stay yours. They are processed only to produce outputs for your workspace and are never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

5. Who receives your data

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions, and only to the extent each one needs. The categories of recipients are:

  • a hosting provider that runs our servers and stores data,
  • a payment operator that processes card payments and fraud checks,
  • an email delivery provider that sends account and billing emails,
  • AI model providers from US companies that process the text and images needed to generate hooks, scripts, voiceover and backgrounds,
  • an analytics provider that measures website use without cookies.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Some recipients process data in the United States or other countries outside your own. Where data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Cookies

The adclip.ai service sets only strictly necessary cookies.

  • A session cookie that keeps you logged in.
  • A security cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
  • A preference cookie that remembers settings such as the billing period you selected.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or cookie-based analytics. Because only strictly necessary cookies are used, no consent banner is required. You can block cookies in your browser, but logging in will then stop working.

8. How long we keep data

  • Demo results are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
  • Account data, uploads and outputs are kept while your account is active. You can delete files and workspaces at any time.
  • After an account is closed, its content is deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep data longer.
  • Invoices and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
  • Technical and security logs are kept for a limited period needed to protect the service, normally no longer than 12 months.
  • Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up.

9. Your rights in the EEA and the UK

If the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a copy in a portable format and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Your rights under US state laws

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Texas, you may have the right to know what personal data we process, access it, correct it, delete it and obtain a copy. You may also opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and profiling. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our answer.

11. How to exercise your rights

Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we answer within the time the applicable law sets, normally within 30 days.

12. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections, passwords are stored as hashes, and access to production systems is limited to the people who need it. More detail is on the AI ad generator security page.

13. Children

AdClip is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we tell account holders about material changes by email before they take effect.
