AI ad generator security and how we handle your data
Your product photos, clips, copy and finished ads are business material. This page explains how AdClip stores and protects them, who can see them, what we never do with them and how the stock footage and music in your ads are licensed.

What we store and why
AdClip stores what it needs to produce and deliver your ads: the product links you paste, the page content read from those links, the photos, clips and screen recordings you upload, your brand kits, the angles, hooks and scripts in your batches, and the rendered files you export. Account data covers your email address, workspace settings, seats and billing records. We use this material only to provide the service to you. We do not sell it and we do not share it with other customers.
No training on customer data
Your uploads and outputs are never used to train models, ours or anyone else's. The AI features in AdClip run on models from US companies, and your material is sent to them only to produce your hooks, scripts, voiceovers and scenes, under terms that exclude training on it. A product photo you upload for your own ads is used for your ads and nothing else.
Encryption and infrastructure
- All traffic between your browser and AdClip runs over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
- Stored files and databases are encrypted at rest.
- Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in readable form.
- Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on our servers.
- Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service.

Licensing of stock footage and music
The stock footage and music inside AdClip are cleared for paid advertising on the platforms we export for: Meta, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Google. The license covers your ad for as long as it runs, and it stays with the exported file. Your own uploads remain under your own rights, so only upload material you are allowed to use in ads. AI voiceovers and generated scenes created for your ads are yours to use in your campaigns.
Honest ads by design
AdClip does not create avatars or AI presenters and never writes fake reviews, ratings or customer names into ads. It can quote review text that is shown on your own product page. Brand kits let you add banned words and required disclaimers, which are then applied to every output, a useful safeguard in regulated categories.
Retention and deletion
- Delete any upload, batch or brand kit from your workspace at any time.
- The account owner can close the account in settings.
- To have all account data deleted, write to [email protected] from the account email and we delete it and confirm by email.
- Invoices and billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
- Demo results are kept for 30 days and then removed.
Enterprise security
Enterprise adds SSO (SAML), custom roles, an audit log, a 99.9 percent SLA and invoice billing. It also includes a security review pack with our answers to the questions procurement teams usually ask about data handling, access and licensing. Reporting a security issue
If you find a vulnerability or suspect that your account has been accessed without permission, write to [email protected] with a description and the steps to reproduce it. We investigate every report and reply by email.
